We would like to thank everyone for supporting our Cookies & Cocoa with Santa! With special thanks to Mels Place for the cupcakes and cocoa, Meagan for the cookies, Nicole for the reindeer food, Friends of Ainsworth Library for the gift bags & goodies, Heidi for all of the candy, Becca for the milk, marshmallows and whipped cream, Kat for volunteering to do all of the activities with the kids and Santa for being our special guest of honor!

::Emergency Closings::

The closing of the library may be required by natural, mechanical or other emergencies;

these situations will be handled as follows:

The responsibility for closing the library rests with the Library Director or her designee.

In the event of an emergency situation, the Library Director shall consult whenever possible the President of the Board of Trustees or an officer as soon as possible as the reason for such closing.

All closings are posted on News 9 Syracuse, on our Facebook page, and website.

 

 

From the Board of Trustees

We are currently seeking new Trustees for the board. Trustees must be a resident in the town of Sandy Creek.

Meetings run monthly with the occasional special meeting.

What does it take to make a good trustee you ask?

                An individual who…

·         Knows the need of the library and the community it serves.

·         Has time to dedicate to the library.

·         Has good judgment, sound character and public spirit.

·         Knows how to be a team player.
