Kids Summer Art Camp

Join us on Fridays, Aug. 10th to the 31st at 11:00 am for our FREE Kids Summer Art Camp for ages 4-10. Each week we'll be creating fun art projects.
Week 1: Weaving
Week 2: Clay imprinting and making slab and coil pots
Week 3: Painting like the Impressionists
Week 4: Drawing with scissors (cut-outs) like Matisse...
Space is limited to 10 kids so you must register by either sending us a private Facebook message with your child's name, number, and age or call us at 315-387-3732. We expect participants to attend every class.

Adult Guitar Lessons

Ever wanted to learn guitar, but never gotten around to it? Now you have a chance to learn! We're offering adult guitar lessons (for acoustic guitars only) for beginners a the library!  It will take place on Tuesdays, Aug. 21 & 28 and Sept. 4 & 11 from 5:00-6:00 pm.  It is limited to 10 participants and guitars will be provided if you do not own one. The lessons will be taught by local music teacher Jackie Hobbs. The total cost of four lessons is $40.00 and must be paid by cash or check (payable to Jackie Hobbs) up front. Food for Fines

From June 22nd to August 31st, our library is participating in the food for fine forgiveness program. Juvenile patrons (under 18) can have their overdue fines forgiven if they donate one canned or non-perishable food item. Lost or replacement fines will not be forgiven. All collected food will be donated to the Sandy Creek/Lacona Food Pantry.
