At Ainsworth Memorial Library!

Saturday, April 22nd at 10:30 am

Competition schedule:

Building Time: 10:30-12:00

Judging/Snack Time for Participants: 12:00-12:30

Awards Ceremony: 12:30-12:45


Lego building participants will have 90 minutes to work on a theme given to them on the day of the event.  All Legos will be provided by the library - please do not bring any of your own.  Judging will take place immediately afterwards.  Lego building participants must work on their own; not in groups.    


Age Categories:

  • 4-7
  • 8-12
  • 13-18


1st place prizes will be awarded in each age category.   


Children must be registered for the event since spaces are limited to five children per age category.  To register, please call us at 387-3732.

Walk-In Résumé & Cover Letter Assistance

Need help with your job résumé and/or cover letter?  Look no further!  The Annie P. Ainsworth Memorial Library offers walk-in résumé and cover letter help every Tuesday from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm.  Assistance is available to help you develop a strong résumé and cover letter so you can land that all important job interview. 

Bring a copy of your résumé and/or cover letter to receive feedback.

Assistance includes:

  • Reviewing your résumé and cover letter.
  • Proofreading/spellchecking your résumé and cover letter.
  • Offering suggestions on ways to improve your résumé and cover letter.

LEGO Fun Day

Lego Fun Day is held every third Saturday of the month from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm at the library. 

Have fun building and creating with LEGOS provided by the library and listen to a LEGO story.  A new theme every month!

For children ages 4-12.

Children age 7 and under must be accompanied by a grown-up.
