School Ballot Information Sessions

The Annie P. Ainsworth Memorial Library is presenting a school ballot funding initiative to the voters in the Sandy Creek School District on Tuesday, May 21, 2019, to raise the funding level for the Library through the district to $75,000, an assessment of $0.21 per thousand or $21.00 for a property whose tax assessment value is $100,000. This funding increase is necessary to cover rising operational costs, mandatory increases in the New York State minimum wage, enhanced Library programming, and the replacement of outdated technology for both patrons and staff.

The Library will be holding two public information sessions to more fully explain the initiative as well as address any questions or comments at the Sandy Creek Town Hall on Wednesday, April 24th at 7:00 pm and on Saturday, April 27th at 1:00 p.m.
