Angel Tree

We have our annual Angel Tree up! If you're interested in helping a local child's Christmas wish, please drop by and pick up an angel tag. You can then bring your unwrapped gift(s) with your angel's tag to us by December 14th. If you're interested in signing up your child, please contact Buffy Peterson at Sandy Creek Central School. A Very Grinchy Christmas

Celebrate Christmas with Santa and the Grinch! On Sat., Dec. 14th at 11 am, we'll be making Grinch snow globes and coloring Grinch Christmas stockings. We'll also be reading the story, "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," watching the cartoon, and eating cookies! Santa will make a special appearance to hear your children's Christmas wishes!  A free event. Space and materials are limited so please register by calling us at 315-387-3732 or by leaving us a Facebook message.

Small Business Info Session

Looking to start or expand your local small business? The Watertown SBDC (Small Business Development Center) located at Jefferson Community College will be at Ainsworth Memorial Library on Thurs., December 12th at 4:30 pm to provide information on what services, trainings, and workshops/courses they have to offer for your small business. They would also like to know what workshops you would like to have at the library in the near future.

All ages are welcome.
For beginners to advanced knitters and crocheters.
Instruction will be provided.
Please bring your own supplies.

New Library App!

We have a new library app!
The new 'North Country Libraries' mobile app is available for download in both Google Play and Apple App stores! It is more user-friendly with less glitches.
 
The old 'North Country Library System' app is still in stores. It will however, disappear September 1st, or shortly after.

Write Stuff Writer's Group

Interested in writing? Suffer from writer's block? Want to share your writings and ideas with other writers? Look no further because Ainsworth Memorial Library has a writer's group for adults called the Write Stuff Writer's Group! We meet on the last Monday of every month at 4:30 pm. Share and learn about writing, genres, publishing, and offer some motivational support!

Crafternoons

Spend a crafternoon at the library!  Join us on the first Tuesday of every month at noon to make unique and useful crafts.  For adult crafters.  All supplies and instruction are provided free of charge!    

Story Hour

Little Readers Story Hour is back every Friday at 10:30 am. Join us for stories, songs, crafts, games, and activities! For toddlers and preschoolers.
